The post editior is causing errors and some people are unable to post or reply with the editor turned on. EDIT: for those who need it here is a Workaround: For now you can go into your prefs and turn off WYSIWYG Editor. This will allow you to post correctly.

Well I had a major problem trying to edit and it ended up coercing me to shut down FF. Now sure if it is related but no more editing for me for the time being.

Everytime I try to post a message under Firefox I get three different error boxes and I have to force quit the program cause nothing else will work. I'm using Opera now to post this but does this mean I have to use Opera to post in gamespot from now on cause that sucks :(

Its different for I.E. The WYSIWYG never loads and at the bottom left corner of the window there is a error on page message.

I've been getting the same thing. Copied down the exact coding and error messages for the first little bit, but after a while I got super bored... There were still like 30 - 40 more error messages after I decided to stop copying it... I was going to post it all in here, but apparently it causes poorly formed HTML, which then brings me to the normal editor, and has me click through the myriad of error messages yet again.

Thank you for the person that told me to turn the editor off. I have been able to post now with IE7. I thought I was going crazy for the last two hours trying to post.

May be just me, but these type of problems almost NEVER happen to me, especially when it happens to you guys, everything works just fine for me, right now (and for the most part) I use my AOL browser which almost never gives me problems when I'm on GS.. I say it's just a glitch, but don't take my word for it.

Good, I shut that piece of crap WYSIWYG editor down. You guys really have to get this fixed. New users are going to leave if they get infinite error messages forcing them to shut down everytime they attempt to post. Another problem I had before the error messages was that the editor would load very slowly. And just for your information, I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.2 on Windows XP.

Something else strange is happening, I can post from my friends Mac computer without turning the WYSIWYG off, however I'm on my laptop now wich is a standard windows based PC computer and I had to turn the WYSIWYG off to post here, really strange. I am assuming that possibly people with Mac based computers arent having problems posting?

Different Browsers are having different Issues with the bug. I dont know what kind of browser the Mac was using, but maybe it was a browser that is not being affected. What Browser comes with a Mac anyway?

I'm sorry but I am not sure, however I know that you usually cant make use of the WYSIWYG system on that paticular Mac anyway, in other words the tool bar that lets you add links and images is never visible thus not usable.

Safari, but there's also OS X versions of other browsers such as IE5, FF, Netscape or AOL Browser. [QUOTE="JDUB_x"][QUOTE="Dualshockin"]http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/713/74337176pe3.png I believe this is the error? I cant quote/edit/post with WYSIWYG on...

Do you see a black message box? 'Cause that happens to me sometimes on IE and sometimes even on FF.

This problem is happening to me as well, and I'm unable to post new blog entries without getting that error message. So I'm forced to restart my PC in order to get back on the Internet...extremely annoying I tell you.

OK, the popup hell in Firefox is fixed - there still seems to be one lingering Javascript error but it doesn't produce a popup.

I just tried editing a message and I could say that this was by far the most frustrating glitch I have ever seen on GameSpot. No other glitch determined me to curse as worse as this one. I managed to see the editor after 5 minutes of pressing "OK" again and again, but when I pressed "Submit", I haven't managed to see any reaction in 3 minutes...

Is it safe to edit posts again? I have a ton of tabs open so I hated being forced to shut down FF and then I couldn't use the restore option cause I would get the same page with popup hell going on.
