At the top right corner it tells me I have updates but everytime I click on it it shows me updated from 7 week ago! I know the people working on the website are probably going to close this thread like they always do and lead me to another thread where everyone has been asking the same question even though I couldn't find any threads when I clicked on this section. SO yeah, Is gamespot gonna fix this problem or what? It's been like this for 7 weeks now. It's kind of ridiculous. I come to htis website quite often and nowadays I just have to browse down to check out the news. I can no longer view updates on the games that I'm tracking. I also already know that I can check my updates by going to my profile and clicking my updates. That's not the question that I'm asking. So again, the question I'm asking is that is gamespot gonna fix the updates which you can access from anywhere on the website which is located on the top right corner or not? Peace out!metalkid9
Same thing happens to me now. It never use to. Started about a month or two ago. Now when i see next to my name that I have updates, they are from weeks ago and the page never updates but once every few weeks it seems. It use to show me the updates from just hours ago all the time when it would tell me of new updates... I dont know what changed, but it sucks now....
And also now, under my name when you hover the mouse over it and it shows you the games you are tracking, the scroll bar on the right side is gone so you can no longer scroll down your games.... I can only see the "A" name games and not all of them. You use to be able to scroll down to the game you want... now I have to use the search feature just to bring up a game I want to see... Dont know why they changed it, but it is really annoying now.... and I use to love this site....

Yes, I understand that you can check it that way, the question is why has it changed and why cant the old way that informs you when you enter the site page and you have the ! point by your name showing you new updates are available, you could just click on that and it would show them to you. Why doesnt it anymore. I shouldnt have to open my profile each time to see todays updates when there is still an update button that should take me right there. The scroll bar was removed too... not sure why. Yes there are other ways to do it, but why eliminate the easy/faster/more convienent ways??
It has been a problem since gamespot started to rebuild the site. The issue is being looked into but unfortunately there is no telling when this will be fixed.

This issue is a known issue and has been reported and posted in the sticky at the top of this forum. So hopefully it will be fixed soon, all we can do is wait and have some patience until it's fixed. So the only current way to view the updates is via profile.

Good to know they are working on it and are aware of the problems. Hopefully a fix will be done in time. Thanks for the info...
