Causticspit here!

I have not seen any updates in my user level for months now. I have been logging on every day for a few weeks by making my gamespot account my homepage for Firefox. I haven't seen any Percentage changes.

Do I have to actually DO something to upgrade my level? I have added new titles I've bought and posted the odd comment here and there, but it's as if I'm stuck at level 20 "Metal Slim".

I have another smaller issue that I can't upload my own user icon, even though I made sure the file type and dimensions were exactly as required.

I enjoy the info the site provides, but it would be nice to see the user Profile glitches go away :)

level 20 takes 41 days to cross..but as you've said percentage aren't chaning that's a matter to concern. and for the user icon, it's better if you don't give any title atall.

Yes, you need to do something to gain levels. Try posting, watching videos, commenting, and rating games.

sorry mate, this information is wrong. You have to do nothing to gain levels, except logging on to gs. The level percentage depends on how many times you log in. check here if you don't know about is.

Well as said earlier it takes somewhat around 45 days to get passed level 20. Also if all your are doing is just visiting the site for a couple of seconds because its your homepage, you will gain percentage but the minimum there is. So by doing this you will gain like 0.3% roughly a day, so it will take a long time to pass level 20.

First, you posted a broken link, and second, you must be wrong. I only log into Gamespot only once a day and post, watch videos, make blogs etc. and always max cap.

Level 20 is notorious for taking a long time to get past.
