Video player not loading at all!

The loading progress bar of ANY video viewed reaches the 3/4 mark and then stops forever. I reinstalled Flash 10 with no luck. I noticed others having this same problem in the "how to gamespot" board. Any suggestions?

I'm using the newest version of firefox. Cleared cache. Not user vids, regular GS vids. Still having the problem.

Followed the mod's link in the other thread. Installed xvid codec package, repaired windows media player install, and moved the firefox specific DLL's into the plugins directory. Still having the exact same problems. All vids on the site are dead to me :(

Same thing is happening to me. Started about two days ago. All videos will load to about 3/4th's of the loading circle and then that's it.

I also use Firefox (most recent version) with all my plugins up-to-date.

EDIT: Videos seem to work fine with Adblock Plus turned off. But ain't no way I'm gonna dump that. XD

Same here. Cleared cookies/cache and all the other typical things to fix it. Also turned off adblock that didn't help either.

Anyone? It's only Gamespot for me. Everywhere else is working.

Thank you for that. That was really confusing me. I'm still confused as to why this just started a couple days ago, though. I don't remember AdBlock updating anytime recently.

I cannot believe that disabling ABP for Gamespot worked... I'm utterly baffled. Luckily Gamespot doesn't have any ads that I'm aware of.

Thanks for the tip! I was going crazy with all the "loading" freeze at 75% in the videos. This worked like a charm.
