It would just be easier to make it on all posts. It's a very common feature on all forums, but not really necessary. Still, I support it (good for blog posts to, or union posts).
I'm bumping this old thread because I want this option as well and would like the staff to see it and think about it again. I was about to make a topic with this same title! Do you think it would be possible to have a view counter on the forums as well as the number of replies? I like the idea of being able to see how many people have at least read the post, but not replied.
