Why is it that we can't edit posts or topic titles in the poll topics we make?

@ArmoredCore55: I believe we are more strict with polls so people don't change things after the fact. If a bunch of people answer a poll, you wouldn't want someone going in and changing the substance of the question, right?

I wasn't referring to the choices in the poll. I was just referring to the post and the topic title.

@ArmoredCore55: Sure, I understand. Imagine though, that the question was something like "Do you steal candy from babies?" and the answers were "Yes" and "No". Folks start answering "No" because they're not monsters, and then the OP changes the poll question to "Do you object to stealing candy from babies?" Now those answers mean something totally different...so, yeah, that's essentially why we do it. : )
