@wemmick: You guys really need to do away with this garbage 'Karma' system of yours. All you're doing is hurting the people who use the site the most, rather than actually preventing verbal abuse or spam.
You recently added a users 'Forums Karma' to their profile box when you hover on their avatar, which allows us to see our own Karma. Yet give us no indication of what posts are being counted against us. On top of that it seems like every time I go and flag a few spam posts, I end up getting banned faster than the spammers.
To compound the issue, you've got a website that promotes the console wars and heavily favors one side of that war. This leaves those of us who sit on the other side(or both sides) open to be victimized if enough of the fanatics gang up on someone.
I'll come on here and often see spam on the forums, flag it, and hours later it's still there. It's not just bad that we get punished for reporting spam, it's the fact we can report this trash and all the mods you guys have sit there and do nothing.
Either you need a lot more active moderators to prevent this system from being abused, or you need to do away with it entirely and let the mods control whether or not someone warrants a ban or not.
