Collection Spotlight

Every now and then we publish an interview with a member of the CCU. See the message below as to why we do them and what is involved if you think you would make an interesting subject.

I've posted the first in what will be a continuing series of Collection Spotlights - check it out on our home page and comment there (not here).

If you'd like be in the collection spotlight PM me. It helps if you have a gmail account so I can share the interview doc with you, but it is not required. Nor is a large collection required, if you have a smaller set of games but there is something of note about them you can have your collection featured.

It also helps to have a photo or two of your collection with one of the photo's with you in it, to personalize the spotlight.

Even if you don't express interest don't be surprised if I PM you expressing interest in your participation.

#005 is up there. I'll take this opportunity to answer some questions about the spotlights.

The interviews are a three part process, I send you the questionaire, the respondant sends it back and I then send back follow-up questions.

Photos are required, but not of the subject (some people are shy, that's ok).

I know some of you have filled out your questionaires and I have finished the process and are anxious to see your put up. I put them up in the order completed. I pace them so each one has some time for everyone to see. If there is a game spotlight in a week it delays the process a few days.

Hope you guys are enjoying reading them as much as I am.

I get a real kick out of it too, It's nice to see some like minded people, even if most are a good deal younger than this old dude.

Stop calling yourself old! Your wise and seasoned! And hell yeah, I love reading them too. I always thought I was insane for loving games as much as I do, now I know i'm not that bad haha.

If no one submits another Game Spotlight by Thursday I can probably have another of those for you, if need be. I understand that you have a vicious backlog of Collection Spotlights and an underwhelming supply of Game Spotlights...would be glad to help with that.

Keep 'em coming Mamba, your last one was great, but I might have another feature between your spotlight and your last feature on Pokemon so people don't get mambad-out (like that would be possible, I know).

I should have some free time this week, so I could submit that Game Spotlight on The Movies that I talked about earlier. I really want to play mine, but I'm missing the code for the expansion... :(

Anyway, I'll try to have that done by wednesday.

Almost all of the subjects of the spotlight have volunteered to my questioning up until now. But I have the remaining few in my sights.
