Has anyone else noticed how expensive some games are on Ebay.  Not so much what people are bidding them up too, but the people who have starting bids well over a few hundred dollars.  For example: Secret Of Mana or Castlevania: symphony of the night new and sealed for $499.  Are people high?

if you pay more than $90 for a FACTORY SEALED copy of Sotn you're either on crack or made of money.

I just remembered an eBay auction of NES games that I'll submitted to Smackdown GT awhile ago. Here's what I said. 23 NES Games - Awesome, 23 new games to play!!!! Wait???? WTF! This one is just really stupid. It kind of runs along the lines of the many copies of the same game area. 23 games would be great only if it was 23 different games. But, it's not. Repeat offenders are: 3x Tecmo Bowl 2x Tecmo Super Bowl 2x Double Dribble 2x Bases Loaded II Second Season 4x Super Mario Bros. 5x Duck Hunt More stupid NES auctions can be found here.

That's nothing. My first copy of SotN came from a hardware store called canadian tire. Every time i went around asking people if they had the game and telling them where i got it i usually got answers like "canaidan tire sells games?" It was pretty funny.

When I bought Master System games new, one of the best places to get them was a farm and construction supply store called Farm King.  Over the Hodiays, my local grocery store had a discount games pallet, which is where I got It's Mr. Pants on GBA.  Sometimes games show up in odd places.
