Not even close. Some of my games I got when I was a very young kid, so I have no idea where they came from. But then again, I can't even remember what I ate for breakfast so that might not mean much. If I catch a deal, overpay, or come up with something special I'll remember generic statistics and approximations. But if I just go buy a game at Wal-Mart, I'll forget where I bought it and how much I paid for it almost immediately.
I remember where I buy alot of my newer games, and how I came to get some of the older games, but alot of my stuff is gifts so I don't know where everything came from.Big_Evil666I remember what category most of my games fall into. For instance, I can differentiate between a GB game that I saved up money for myself so that I could buy at K-Mart and the ones I got as a gift. Not just by use, I can also differentiate between games I got used and ones I purchased myself at release.
I have a hard enough time remembering the games I do or do not have, let alone where, when, and for how much I purchased them for. (And I only have around 370 games. I can't fathom having over two thousand like some people here. :P)
When I was at Best Buy, I had to stare at the Final Fantasy V and VI GBA games to remember if I had already bought them or not. I knew I had IV already, and I was sure I didn't have VI, but for the life of me I couldn't remember if I had V yet or not. Turns out I don't yet.
Glancing over my games though, I can remember the details of most of the purchases. The price is the first thing I forget, then "when" I got it, and finally "where" I got it goes last from memory. Usually.
