I'm not talking about so bad you can't play them, I mean what games do you have that you just can't play because you don't have an operating console for them?

For me it's my Collecovision collection.  I was fortunate enough to pick up 70 of them from a fellow CCUer a few years back, problem is I never got a working Collecovision.  And now that I am on 240 Volt power systems I am reluctant to plug any of my old consoles in (even using a step-down convertor) so I have not even bothered getting one on Ebay.

I am far less chronic. I only intended to get a new PC in October of 2012.  I am still using my PC from 2001.

I have a different problem. I have a high end gaming rig (Dell XPS 630i), but I just don't like PC gaming. Even Games for Windows Live games, where I can get Xbox Live achievements are a disappointment. Invariably there are problems just to play PC games, for example connecting to the Xbox Live service through the games is usually glitchy, something is wrong with the graphics, something is wrong with the sound, the resolution isn't right... I don't like troubleshooting or fiddling with PC settings or researching solutions enough to warrant much PC gaming.

without PC gaming I wouldn't get to enjoy gmaes like the Sims series, cthe Civilization series or Galactic Civiliztions... or even Minecraft to their fullest extent... and I especially love playing Star Trek Online.

Good point. There are definitely some games that you can't enjoy anywhere else or that are best suited for the PC. Those games are the reason to own a gaming rig.. Guild Wars comes to mind..

I sold my PSP last year (or year before). Still have Itadaki Street because they wouldn't take Japanese games. Could sell on Ebay but I never get 'round to it..

Does it have an english mode?  That seems like a tough one to play in Japanese (unless you know Japanese).

Due to the fact that I have the Gameboy player permanently attached to the bottom of my GameCube, I don't think there are any games in my collection that I can't actually play. :)

the coolest part of the super game boy was that some of the games were specifically designed to work with it and when used in it had a cool border, enhansed graphics/color and even better speed... some even had more multi-player features and game modes.

In theory, yes.  I love mine and gald it is attached, but I think I've used it a total of 20 minutes in its lifetime.

I would need a Virtual Boy to play the one tennis game I have for it. lol. Not such an easy system to come across at a reasonable price. I also have Atari 8-Bit, 5200, and 7800 games that need a system to play on.

As for PC games my outlook has changed dramatically over the last year. Don't get me wrong, I still love PC gaming but now see that it is strong in some areas and not strong in others. My Xbox 360 purchase showed me some things that I can't undo now that I have experienced them. FPS are awesome on h Xbox and the lack of tweeking settings that is common on a PC is very welcoming. The one real benefit to PC gaming is that there are so many great games that you can only experience if you have a PC. I also enjoy the ability to use programs like Dosbox to run games that shouldn't work on current Windows OS.

Honestly I have done more gaming on my 360 than I have on my PC in the last year and I would have bet money that would have never happened. As far as owning a up-to-date PC I think that will always be a priority as I do enjoy so much that PC gaming has to offer. However, it is also the first time in my life that my PC is fighting for my attention with another system. lol.
