I HATE losing gaming stuff.

Currently I am missing:

- Component cables for Gamecube.

- EyeToy for PS2.

- Second power cable for Gamecube.

- A copy of Pokemon Emerald and Pokemon Pearl.

- The Phantasy Star Collection for GBA.

- Boxed N64 version of Star Wars Episode 1: Pod Racer.

I am pretty sure the last three items walked off with some younger relatives.

HATE that! I was missing my PSP for literally MONTHS. I scoured my boxes of games in the basement, but it turned out that it was in a box not marked gaming. :(

My computer has been out all week.  I finally bought a nw one (shoudl be here in a week).

In other news, I have decided to buy these lost items back so I set up and Australian Ebay account (uh oh, this is how it will all start again!).

I love Ebay, no wonder I've been avoiding it for the last 4 years.  Too much good stuff.

I fully blame myself for a similar situation.

Once the game room was complete and I had everything exactly where I wanted it...then laziness took over.

For two weeks I couldn't find where the heck I had placed the case for the Mass Effect Trilogy for PS3, and had left ME2 inside the PS3 as not to toss it into the coffee table (my "next on deck" piles home along with any number of random crap I have got in various special/limited/collectors edition boxes) as I knew it would get buried as I added games I planned on playing that would eventually be tossed onto the shelves by newers games I had every intention of playing.

Of course upon the opening of NHL 2k13 to play with friends the ME2 disc found its way onto the coffee table,

As I went to the washroom mayve a week later (which is only used by me when I am in the basement) I found the Mass Effect case resting on the edge of the sink, I grabbed it and went back to toss the ME2 disc into it....can't find it...

Wow....that is a lot of stuff to go missing.  I am sorry to hear that happened to you. :(

When it rains.....it pours.  Glad to hear that you got a replacement though.  Perhaps this will be a blessing in disguise. :)

I wish you the best in finding those replacements. As an eBay member who now has a feedback rating of over 500 (and that is all buying and no selling thus far), I fully understand how addictive eBay is.  I have had to take months off at a time just to keep my finances in order.

My re-aquisistion has been going slow.  So far I've only replaced the PS2 EyeToy.  Those pokemon GBA carts are pricier than I was expecting.

You may have to buy them in large lots rather than individually obtaining them (if you can find them in bulk lots that is).  You could then sell off what you don't want (theoretically speaking) and reduce the cost that way.

Found the Mass Effect 2 disc;

Left the ME-Trilogy case somewhere safe so I would remember where I left it when I eventually found the ME2 disc....

Anyone remember where that safe place was???

Congrats on finding the disc.  Was it where you expected it to be?

Oh no!  You're kidding, right?  Man, I hate when that happens.   You hid it so well that you can't find it.  Arghhhh...I know the feeling as I have hid things from myself as well. Now I try to hide things out in the open so they don't get lost.  Wait a minute......That doesn't make any sense.  Oh well......

The thing is, when I knew hese kids were coming over, I moved my entire DS collection into a room they did not have access to. But I left the hand-held ocnsole out.  And they took the games from the consoles.

I understand it, but it is still regrettable,

I have a big coffee table between the TV and my chair, and a smaller side table beside my chair.

My to be played pile tends to be on the big coffee table, however there was some random spill over on the side table. I guess I got in from buying games and tossed the stack onto the side table with the disc under it.

Opps!

I have officially decided that when I need to put something somewhere safe it goes in the drawer if the side table.

Now should I ever forget its here to remind me
