Probably you guys know (or might not) about this thing called F1 in Schools. Well, my country just finshed it and the winners will stand a chance to get a fully paid trip to Melbourne to compete for the Grand Finals and go to Albert Park to watch the GP!!! I'm not from the winning team, so..........ARGHHH!!! (Right now we're hoping we can participate as a self-funded team).

maybe we should put a countdown timer for F1-07 sort of like the have on the f1 website. we could put it  on the union board or the home page or we could even incorporate it into the banner

i was thinking that same thing :D. The only thing is we would need to get the HTML/BB code (or watever the heck the thing is lol) for the timer :? maybe u might want to start "the official countdown topic" (or somthing) if u can get a timer :)
I love the countdown timer idea! (nice idea, mjk!) Unfortunately, I don't think that we can incorportae a timer inside the banner because GS doesn't give you HTML access but instead asks for the banner's address only.
I would love to be part of F1 in schools, all year I have been drawing obsesively different Aero ideas :D I love it. Unfortuately other than Bruce McLaren New Zealand doesnt have a whole lot when it comes to motor sport. (Except perhaps NZ A1GP team and racein january which I wont attend because its so damn expensive. $90 general admission, no seat or anything. $295 for a grandstand ticket.
Im gonna watch a bit of A1 but its pretty boring, but I also own MotorsTV which is basically a channel with 24 hours a day motorsport so i'll be alright.
