Which formula one game has the best AI, and do you think that the F1 2006 will have better AI, and do you think that it will be on the Playstation 2, or will they only make it on the PS3?...in F1 2005 if i put the AI on hard, i can still get them far from me...i'll do a race over next weekend and post up how far they were, a full race, any recommendations as to which track i should do it (not monaco please, i hate that track, its tooo tight)

I've played many different F1 games on many consoles, and I have to say that "F1 Challenge 99-02" for the "PC" (not the console's version) had the best and most challenging AI!

You also had different sliders to adjust different settings for the AI behaviour, it was awesome!

F1 2005 on the PS2 is overall easy and the AI isn't too challenging!

F1 2006 will probably be released for the PS3, I don't think that they'll release a version for the PS2 as they probably want to concentrate on the PS3's version!

As for the full race recommendation, I would recommend Silverstone or Bahrain! :)

Never mind about the triple post! :)

As for the race, you should use the car you like, but I do recommend either the McLaren or the renault!

If you have the time, then play a proper race weekend, otherwise just go for a one practice session, a qualifying session and a race ! (that's what would I do ;) )

I DID ITT!!!!...the results are:

1st = me

second = MSC = 18.069

First Overlap = Heidfeld = 14th (13th -8th, were all behind each other)

Fastest Lap = 1'32.595 = ME (without stripsleaming)

What do ya think of the race

 is my lap time fast?

i've played quite a few f1 games and never found the AI hard at all. if i did a full length race at e.g silverstone or malaysia, i'll overlap the whole field at least once. for when the PS3 comes out i hope the AI is a lot more challenging that what it has been.

Hope some of u agree. lol

Your time is pretty fast!
I think that this would give you the Gold medal if you played a Time Test session!

Yeah, most F1 games don't have a hard AI.
But did you play "F1 Challenge 99-02" on the PC?
It had a few high difficulty settings where the AI becomes really challenging!

With the PS3, they might be able to design more sophisticated AI algorithms to provide the players with a more challenging experience! (I hope so!)

i haven't played that one, but played all the playstation ones and the AI is almost pathetic except for F1'05 the AI is a bit harder but still even in a minardi i would leave the field for dust. i hear what you say about the PS3's AI algorithms and i hope they do get better.
