With the final race of the season upon us...It looks like it is a straight dog fight between Ali Nahle (Aloushi87) Ricky McHenry (Sifo_dyas) James McCaughern (JamboGT)

Nahle has pretty much led the championship throughout despite The Hondas Been superior. Nahle currently leads on 78 Points, 3 ahead of McHenry & 6 Ahead of McCaughern. The Winner of the Championship will get first pick of the car roster....

I created F1 PU season 2 a week ago. Once the Season is over and the winner is declared. I will give the URL to the Champion.

Count me in for sure.  On another batracer note: my public 2006 game just ended today, and I won the last race from 20th on the grid (my first batracer win).

Another question about season 2: Will the finishing order in the championship for season 1 be the picking order for season 2? I thought I heard you guys mentioning something about that.

My thought is to give the next season about 1 or 2 weeks before we get it going.  That way people new to the union or that have mentioned that they want to be in this season have the chance to be notified.

I'd say that we should wait 2 weeks after each season before creating the next season.  2 weeks is a good break from the game yet it leaves the game fresh in peoples minds.  If you wait months then some users might simply stop coming to the union for whatever reason and they might still want to do batracer.

Another thing that I'm thinking is that every few championships we should throw in another car set instead of 06.  Like the 4th championship should be the 02 car set or something like that.  Or even throw in the A1GP championship.  Although I think we need to have like 25 people to start that.

On the teammate thing: You should not make that rule.  If 2 teammates are able to finish 1 & 2 or something like that and are able to be teammatse again then they should be able to if that is available.  Just like in real life, if the 2 guys are working well together then the team keeps them.

All of that of course is my opinion on things and is up for approval or disapproval.

So Watson already chose his car even before the top guys did because he already created a game?  I should get dips on the car before Jamie does, no offense Jamie but I thought that was the rule... Not just the top three players.

How about if we just draw lots. I have no idea how it's gonna be done but I think this is the best way with little argument.

This is how it should go to follow with real life Formula 1, I used real names instead of GS names and sorry if I made a mistake I was trying to do it quickly:

• First pick: Ali Nahle
• 2nd pick: Ricky McHenry
• 3rd pick: Mjk Khan
• 4th pick: James McCaughern
• 5th pick: Matt Hafiz
• 6th pick: Jason Poremba

.... and so on all the way down to 13. Now say spot 4 does not sign up to play this season then everyone lower moves up a picking position. After all 13 of us have picked our cars then the url and stuff should be given out and the remaining new players can do a free for all with remaining cars.

Instead of all this squabilling, why don't we just let everyone choose a car, and the team leaders are not aloud to use the same car as last time out, so this means that you'll likely end up with someone that you didn't pair up with last time and using a different car so someone else can use another car.

Hope this idea is approved........

It has taken 3 days for Sifo to reply and I think It will be very annoyinh yo wait

if he doesn't reply by wednesday, i think we should let everyone to a car, it would only be fair, i've got exams in the next few weeks, so i would like to get a car ASAP, so it would be less aggrevation whilst doing my exams.

i'm only saying, not sure if any others have exams over the next few weeks.

Settle down, I could care less what happens now.

Listen, This way is quick, Efficent and Fair and All be it your 6th In the Championship, You could be the 4th man to pick you drive :P

All drivers sign up within a few days then we have like a week or two weeks for all praccy times & New Drivers Sign ups

If everyone at the bottom gets to pick via first come first serve then I might as well join another game (private or public) where I can get to choose the best car!  I don't think it is fair for I fought really hard for the championship and I even beat the Renaults!!! I should get promoted to a better seat!

This first come first serve style won't make our private F1PU game any special that all the other games there is on BATracer except that we're on GS...

Icytower agrees, MJK agrees, I vote on it too... 3 vs. 1 or 2 if you count kipi in..

I think icytower's idea is the best. probably since it was what proposed for the first time.

Check page 2 of this topic for what how he feels about this subject. I honestly don't care about what happens now, even though I DON'T find it very fair.  Season 3 is definately something that needs to be hammered out before 2 is even ever close to ending.

FFS< Before you all spit your dummies out again (Icy & Moto) I have not PICKED A DAMN CAR!!!!!!!!!!!! Aloushi is the only one that has, & For the record Moto (Cahall) It is the top 3 that is picking their cars not the bottom pair, + Poremba (ICY) done very well in a bad car with no teamate? It doesn't matter what car it is, It's basically everyone picking their favourites

My FINAL thoughts on all of this:

• 1. Jamie: please settle down man. I understand you feel strongly about your postion on what should be done and I respect that.  The things I said were not meant as harm or disrespect towards you.  I was just stating my opinion like I was asked to do.
• 2. Not having the same temmate is a bit harsh, IMHO, because if the teammates did well together then most teams would actually keep them together. And if we are going to keep this somewhat realistic then that is the way to go.
• 3. I FINISHED 6TH WITH A TORO ROSSO & NO TEMMATE! I had 5 podiums, 1 fastest lap and an average qualifying of 6.7. I say this to prove a point, not to rub anyones face in it, that ultimately it does not matter about anything.  The game is set up that just about any car can do good.  I do believe the Midland was doing great until he disapeared about mid season or whatever it was.

I guess those were not my final thoughts.  Anyway, I think we should only give him another day, 2 at the most, before we move down to the next person.

Listen Guys, I am not been unfair and unreasonable, I think it is a very good idea for the top 3 to choose their cars because it is more effiecient quicker and fairer, Also Icy Tower, Top drivers in F1 don't get to choose their cars, did Raikkonen get to choose to driver for McLaren after his first season at Sauber. It has taken Sifo 4 days to reply and Aloushi I sent him the Link after you picked. How long would it take ffs, Is it really that good an idea. Moto? You finished 7th, You could very well be the 4th man to pick. Also this would be very unfair on new recruits as they would be paired with fellow Newbies

The comment on drivers is relative, I know that drivers don't pick there teams, I'm not stupid.  But with the game the way it is, that is the closest thing to real life as can be. All this crap is keeping me from inviting any of my F1 friends to this union and is pushing me away from having any interest in it.
