I watched the practice session today, it was ok but too much spinning from even the likes of Schumi and Alonso! I think we might have rain on sunday, that would be awesome!!!

Rain in Brazil would be great. Who can forget the 2003 race? Cars going off left, right and centre, but sadly cut short due to Alonso's crash and injury.

Dunno what happened to Schumacher, looks like a gearbox problem. We'll have to wait for interviews.

Just watched qualifying and I'm pleased to see Schumacher at 10th at best on the grid of course. I think Kimi may go on to win the race tomorrow if Massa doesnt get too far away during the first stint.

Nah, I predict Massa to run away with it unless Schumacher suddenly jumps up to 2nd after the first lap.

Edit: Well, according to BBC, Schumacher suffered an engine failure.

I was very impressed by the Ferrari's performance in the first 2 parts of the qulaifying session, but that engine failure was surprising and disappointing. Poor Schumi, now he's going to replace his engine and start from P20, I guess there's no way to for him to win the championship now. :(

"Poor Schumi, now he's going to replace his engine and start from P20, I guess there's no way to for him to win the championship now."

Like I say, unless a race incident happens, I doubt he has a chance anyway. And there's still no news on any engine changes (fuel pressure is the cause of the problem) so it still looks like he's in P10. No doubt Ferrari need something good though, as combined Renault only need 10 points to take the Constructors, but it's all to play for. Anything can happen in the world of Motorsport!

That race was crazy. That infamous second corner which had everyone spinning off. Apparently all the rain water slid down the bend on the second corner which caused everybody to spin. Something like that but they've fixed it now.

Great race, and what a show from Schumacher, his push from his puncture, just shows he is a good racing driver.  Alonso Deserved his Championship, and don't forget Sato, finishing 10th for Super Aguri. and Massa fully deserved his Win.

I can't wait for next season. Heres to a great season, and to another!!!!!!!!!!!

*puts a toast and raises a glass to the 2006 F1 Year*

Excellent race... Massa won his home GP without error, Schumacher pushed harder than ever to climb the grid not once, but twice, Alonso did a great job, Button had his best performace this year IMO... what a way to end the championship

i will miss schumacher a lot next year i think ill start to follow massa. i just sank in my bed as he went over the finishing line i felt the tears cum through my eyes and thats when it sank in hes gone it felt as if he had past away. never the less well done massa and like they said about schumi he never gives up even when he is at the back he will try and try i think he would have won if it was not for that puncher.

Very good race,it was entertaining from start to finish and we witnessed many cool overtakings. Massa was amazing from start to finish, he fully deserved the win. Alonso played it well and deserved the championship. Schumacher was the hero of the race, period. He showed that he's indeed a F1 legend that will definitely be missed by F1 fans. Well done Schumi!!! Goodbye, and thank you for all what you did for F1.

That was good race, and a great drive from Schumacher in his final race. Also a strong drive from Massa, Button and Sato.
