Valantino Rossi challenged F1 World Champion Fernando Alonso to see who is the fastest. Rossi said "We'll race in a formula 1 car,a rally car and a moto gp bike, we'll add the three times together and then we'll see who is the fastest.

Could Moto GP Champion beat F1 Champion???

I think he would win the Moto GP race but i'm unsure on whether he'll upstage Fernando on the F1 Stage and the Rally event is pretty much even steven..

Will this challenge ever happen?

Who do you think would win?

I think Rossi will win since he has experience on all three forms as for Alonso only has experience in an F1 car(as far as I know anyway). Plus, switching from four wheels to two is more challanging then the other way around.

Alonso has a bike..but has never been in Moto GP. Rossi does have the experience and also a ferrari contract maybe on the tables for the Italian

Rossi Will beat Alonso on the bikes, Alonso Will beat Rossi In F1 but i think it will all come down to the rallying

Thats obvious but what I think Rossi wants to prove is that he would do a better job keeping up with Alonso in a car than Alonso would have keeping with him on a bike. thats why he wanted to add up the times.

You guys have to remember that it is all about combined times from each of the three sectors.  Alonso will definitely be ahead of Rossi but by how much?  2 secs?  Using the tests that they did together as a measurement.  Rossi will definitely win in the motogp by how much?  The lousiest rider in motogp is as far as 3-4 secs behind Rossi's time, plus Alonso might be experienced in stock sports bike, but motogp bikes are totally different, example, Troy Bayliss failed to perform on a prototype motogp Ducati, even worse on the Honda, but stock production modified superbikes, he is fast.  Rallying, Rossi will edge out too. So by combining the times, Rossi will have an edge.
