There is new rules that will take effect in 2008. The biggest new rule is "The Engine Freeze". During Qualifying if you change your engine you will be docked 10 places on the grid but as of 2008 that will all change. The new penalty will be that if you change your engine during it's two race cycle your car will have 15kg more in weight added to the car.
Other changes include the move back to single tyre suppliers will be accompanied by a return return to slicks and a ban on tyre-warming blankets.
An other change is that the WMSC include a mandatory testing limit of 30,000km (18,600 miles) per team per year, a ban on spare cars and a requirement for gearboxes to last four races.
How do you feel about this? Is it good or bad for F1???
