You know guys, if you can't get 20 drivers, then perhaps you should use the BATracer boards where there are people who are willing to join organized private games.
Make sure to keep an eye out for the release of the information.
On a similar note, could I get an update on who has signed up so far from last season and who is next? Just want to have a heads up as to when I might get the info.

The best way to figure it out is to go to the site and join a public season and try it out. It's surprisingly user-friendly once you get used to it.
There's a quickstart guide here that is a good place to begin.
You should suggest this function to future racing games... I've always wanted to learn about setup in racing games but since I have no idea how to do it and how to adjust it... I leave it alone... the BATracer mechanism actually makes setting up a car a whole lot easier.
The game works like this: 1. You register in the website, choose your flag (nationality) and paint your helmet (Cool!). 2. You sign up for either a public game or a private game, in our case it is a private game. 3. You choose two driver's characteristics; which will affect your performance throughout the season. 4. You choose a team to be its driver, but if the team is full you'll have to choose another one. 5. Once all the teams are full, the season will start automatically. The game owner can start it even if the teams are not full yet. 6. There are 4 sessions per race: practice, qualifying, warm up and race. Each session is separated from the other by 24 hours; which means that you can do a session anytime during its 24 hours period. 7. In the practice session, you usually have 8 laps to adjust your car's setup in order to obtain the best setup. You can also use the engineers basic advice to help you. Don't worry, it is NOT compliacted at all! 8. Once you finish your practice ,you can set your strategy for the qualifying session. 9. Then there's a warm up session that consists of a few laps where you can make the final touches on your car's setup and set your race strategy (ex. number of pit stops...etc). 10. The race will take place automatically. Note that you do NOT actually control your car during the race. 11. You can also set your driving style at any time, like choosing to be an agressive or a cautios driver and so on.
That's it! It might sound complicated now, but believe me it takes a few minutes only, and after the first race you'll find it simple, fun and cool! :)
Adding to Aloushi quick start manual... you don't do any actual qualifying and race. All these are calculated via a programming code. You select the parameters for set-up of your car via a slider bar with 0 being the lowest possible value and 100 being the highest. After each lap of trial, you will receive feedback from the car in terms of hi and lo... your goal is to set your value between the hi and lo bar... if you set your values right, you'll receive a "spot-on" feedback, which means you set the car up perfectly.

EDIT: Didn't notice that he signed up since last time I checked. Considering I'm horrible with names and don't remember who you are, the rest of the points from last season, after Stevens in 9th, is as follows: Hafiz, Chan, Camp, Khan, Keith & Aaron Johnson.
Well with yet another drop out, it looks like we might need some outside help to fill up the game a bit. Fortunetly we seamed to get some interest from new players this time around.
