In here we discuss the next season, ideas, rules, carset and entrants come forth and prosper!! The last season was a pretty sweet set-up but perhaps a new carset could be looked into. Suggestions yo?

just had a look at the website and there are 4 new car sets we could try:

  • GP2
  • Formula 3
  • Ferrari Challenge
  • Classic Transam

Damnit Damon! You beat me to it. But oh well. I'm going to suggest the Champcar V2.0 carset. Why? Create your teams own and custom liveries. Mmm, very tempting.

Has there been an F1 1986 season? I'd like to propose it as it is very different from the newer F1 sets, plus you get massive turbos and super-soft qualifying tyres to play with.

The downside is that it might be difficult to rebalance the cars to make them all equal.

And they would be equal from the get go yes?

We haven't had a 1986 season and that was one that interested me very much just because it'd be quite different. Would probably be best with lots of players though because retirements are high yes?

We need 14 players to even get '86 started. Usually about 25% of the field retire in a normal race, so you could probably expect 10-11 finishers on average.
