From the storm clouds of Brazil hails Felipe Massa, with his message to the crowd:
SOURCE: BBC Sport
"I AM THE LORD FELIPE MASSA, AND I BRING UPON TO YOU THE NEW TEN COMMANDMENTS THAT ALL SHALL ABIDE BY:
Now let's see you dominate, Mr. Hamilton."
Trumpets serenade as King Felipe Massa strides upon his great podium. He is flanked by his servants, Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso. He stands on the front of the podium, waiting for the cheering to subside. Above him, thunder sounds as the storm clouds draw closer, but he seems not to be affected.
CROWD: Hail, King Felipe! Hail!
The jubilations of the crowd begin to quieten. Massa holds up his hand for silence, and the crowd silences immediately. Clasping his winner's trophy in his right hand, he prepares to speak.
MASSA: My people, my friends, my fellow countrymen! This year we were narrowly defeated by the Pretender, Lewis Hamilton. But I promise you, next year, we shall return stronger than ever before! This trophy you see now (holding it out proudly) cannot, and will not, be good enough for you or I!
Deafening applause. Massa composes himself, and hushes the crowd.
MASSA: My servants behind me are wise and noble men. If I am to take the championship next year, they shall have to support me as much as you will!
Alonso and Raikkonen move into the foreground. Alonso waves to the crowd, but Raikkonen stays still, taciturn as ever. The crowd clap politely and a few cheers are heard, but nothing on the scale that greeted Massa. Massa moves back to the front of the stage again, preparing to speak.
MASSA: Do not fear, do not doubt, do not worry, my people! For I stand before you now, and this I say, that next year, WE SHALL BE VICTORIOUS!
Massa turns and walks back to the pit and paddock, followed closely by Alonso and Raikkonen. The scale of the cheering could be heard out of Interlagos. Almost immediately after Massa leaves, the storm breaks, drenching the spectators.
