.:: F1PU - Wooden Spoon Awards 2009 ::.

Whilst it's good to pick the best of 2009, it's so much more fun to pick the fails for the sake of it. Therefore, I re-introduce KimisApprentice's idea from last year of the wooden spoon awards.

Because this is just for fun, there are no set categories. If you want to add more, then feel free to do so. The more we can add, the better. For now, the base categories will be those we managed to get by the end of last year:

Worst start of the year: Take your pick from the Barrichello lot - Australia, Turkey or Spa.
Worst race of the year (single person): Luca Badoer, Belgium. Teammate won, whereas he finished dead last and a lap down.
Most pathetic crash of the year: Kovalainen, Malaysia. What on earth even happened?
Worst team of the year: Renault. Does it need explaining?
Fugliest car of the year: Seriously, Brawn GP needed more colour. Kudos to taking this title two years in-a-row.
Owned by teammate award: Bourdais got owned by a rookie.
Mr. Wooden Spoon: Luca Badoer, hands down.
Funniest sight of the year: Nick Heidfeld decides to mop away standing water during Saturday Practice in Brazil
Saddest sight of the year: The numerous people who don't believe Button is a worthy World Champion

Worst start of the year: Spain, All the backmarkers
Worst race of the year (single person): Badoer in Spa. Nuff' Said.
Most pathetic crash of the year: Heikki In Malaysia
Worst team of the year: Renault
Fugliest car of the year: Renault, Need something thats not so... orange?
Owned by teammate award: Badoer in Spa
Mr. Wooden Spoon: Badoer
Funniest sight of the year: Raikkonen getting Ice Cream after Malaysian GP is halted
Saddest sight of the year: Massa's crash in Hungary.

I only have one answer for all of these and his initials on the TV are "BAD".

Worst race of the year (single person): Badoer at Spa (who doesn't agree with this?)
Most pathetic crash of the year: Lewis Hamilton at Monza
Worst team of the year: Ferrari (their worst year in a decade)
Fugliest car of the year: Renault (bloody tractor)
Owned by teammate award: Badoer
Mr. Wooden Spoon: Badoer (Spa and Valencia need I say more?)
Funniest sight of the year: Kimi Raikkonen in shorts and a T-shirt eating and Ice Cream when there is a Monsoon outside
Saddest sight of the year: Badoer last at Spa Kimi first
