Sound similar to something I posted earlier? Also, sorry for having to link it, GS being unhelpful at the moment - Redders

Thats ridiculous, they should stick with the engines they've got now, or go back to the days of 94, and let everyone do what the hell they want :)

I'm keeping an open mind.. as long as F1 keeps the speed but increases overtaking, I'll be happy. If these plans seriously reduce the speed of the sport, then these proposals aren't good at all.

F1 has the best safety standards in all motorsports i think, and now that drivers can live through huge accidents, Kubica, Ralf Schumacher. etc. the rules of 94, IMO should be brought back. no driver aids. no winglets on cars, engines and chassis can be designed anyway they like.

It would be so much more interesting if the rules were back to how they were :)

Geez, if these proposals come in, watch the F1 audience fall by about 50%. 4 cylinders... what rubbish.

It would be alright if it was V6 Supercharged cuz than Volkswagen would come and dominate with their inferior Vr6 engines!:D

Yano what? they should have V12's and bring back the big fat grippy slicks...also chuck out winglets (those who know me around ere know I hate these with a passion :P) An F1 car should have 2 wings - front and rear. Give TC the boot and you've got yourself a proper motorsport right there 8)

V12's would be far too heavy, Torquey as hell i'd say but lacking in raw power. Bring back the V10 (Without a rev limiter)! And as much as I love looking at F1 cars these days with their winglets I am seeing a distinct lack of slipstream :(
