What I've infered from this is that pre-ordering the Standard or Collector's Edition of the game MIGHT get you one of six special cars, but buying the Signature Edition will GUARANTEE you getting all six special cars.

I was going just use my PS2 but GT5 isn't on there.

I only got 6 PS3 games because, well, there aren't many good racing games out there...

OK - I'll add you! As far as GT for PSP is concerned I have 143 cars and 8,711,811 credits ( saving up for the Ferrari F1 car and now I have enough just waiting for Ferrari to come back :lol: )

I've asked the question many times including to people who claim to have got all the cars and funnily enough no-one has ever been able to answer!! Maybe it will be different here!!

The F2007, the most expensive car in the game. I bought it as my 15th car.

The Polyphony Digital is 3 million less and has more BHP and less KG but handles terribly. Good thing I took out my memory card to try it.

How much money have you made in the whole game?

I've made 90 million.

I read somewhere that you need 245 million to buy all the cars in the game.

What method do you use to make money?

I do two laps on Test Course at S Rank with a Sauber Mercedes C9 Race Car '89.

Faster than the Buggati around the corners by 4 MPH and faster lap time by 6 seconds.

This method gets you 150,000 in 3 minutes 15 (about).

I also can't believe that there are 115 Nissans in the game.

A LOT of the 830 cars are Japanese.

89 Mitsubishis, etc.

Only about 19 million I think.

So far I have just been playing the game trying to unlock every track to level S. Not the most effecient method ot make money I know....but want to beat the tracks as much as get the cars :)

Every day I grind for cash at the extremely boring Test Cousr. Day in, day out.

I bought all the cars but couldn't get 1st in 5 S rank races, 3 A rank races, 1 B rank race zand 1 Manufacturer race. Got 3rd and 2nd in those instead.

Online on GT5P is quite terrible, long loading times and lagging cars.

I didn't get all the cars - didn't see the point in the end. There were 2 S rank and one manufacturer event I could only manage 2nd in but there were 2 further S ranks that I only won once I had my chair and wheel!

If you want to complete GT5 100% why not get 830 out of 1000+ cars first?

You'll only have 170+ cars left to complete your garage 100%.

This means less grinding in GT5 and more racing.

I can't seem to do that. I need socks and trainers. Otherwise I can't "feel" the grip properly.

I also need to use racing gloves. The grip on the wheel has run out!

Well maybe "cheating" is a bit harsh and I may well transfer some of my PSP cars over - certainly won't be grinding out the same race over and over just to buy more though. If GT5P is anything to go by then credits will be easy to rack up by playing on line but we'll see!

I am sure they only added that feature to the PSP game because they knew then they would have to put the release date back again and don't believe it was part of the "grand plan" as it were but.....

I had to play 100 hours on it to finish it. Stupid EA made it copy-protected so when my PS3 got red screen I had to restart 40 hours of gameplay again. Took another 60 hours to finish it off.

The game never beats me. 100% in every game except GT PSP :)

Yeah I noticed on your trophy collection that virtually all your games were platinumed so go you - I don't have the dedication to do that and I am easily distracted by the next game release :lol:

Had the wheel about a year and it's still fine - but games like MotorStorm Pacific Rift/Pure/MotoGP/Sonic and Sega Allstars and the list goes on don't suport a wheel so.....

Depends on the game to be honest!

I only have the 2 - Madagascar Kartz ( in my defence I was playing it to unlock the last character for the kids and then realized I was only a couple of trophies away ) and Ashes Cricket 2009. I'm nearly there with International Cricket 2010 and in Split/Second need a couple of time trial times and a couple of the hidden ones ( I do know what they are though ) and I'll be done with that one as well :)

I used seqential for GT5P using the stick to the right of the wheel ( perhaps obviously ). Don't remember the last WRC game I played although looking forward to the new one in October. Like you I have always paddled in F1

I've worked out a plan for myself two days ago.

I worked out if I make 8,000,000 Cr a day (in real life) then I would finish the game before summer holidays are over.

So what I did was, got my two brothers to do 1,000,000 Cr each and I do 6,000,000 Cr.

Test Course is a very boring track.

Some of the special ones don't tell you how to get A***.

It's all based on how you race as well, not just if you meet the target or exceed it.

For all the Head-to-Heads, it's not just about beating them. It's also measuring how quickly you make the lead move, and in order to get the A*** you gotta avoid touching their car (if they hit you it doesn't matter), but also by what margain you beat them and if you've gone off the race track at any point (You'll be lucky to get A*** if you go off more than once).

As for the others:

The Heavens Have Opened: You already start this from 1st place, so in order to get the A*** you must:
- Win the race
- Don't get overtaken AT ALL
- Stay on the circuit
- Win by as big a margain as possible; it doesn't have to be that big here given you're on dry tyres and the rest are on the wets.

Low Fuel: Back of the pack, get to first. Simple, right?
- Again, winning is vital
- Get to 1st place as quickly as you can
- Don't go off the track
- Most importantly, don't hit ANY of the cars. You can almost guarantee there's no A*** if you do.
- Again win by as big a margain as possible.

Wets In The Wet: The problem here initially is you've got all the slow cars ahead of you on dry tyres, making the task of not hitting them very difficult.
- Don't hit the cars
- Win the race
- Get to 1st ASAP
- Don't fly off the circuit or hit the walls
- Same old same old, win by as big a margain as possible.

Worn And Torn: I'm pretty sure you drive Webber's car in this... so as to why Webber and Vettel are both in this confuses me.
- Win the race
- Take the lead as early as possible
- Don't hit the cars or walls
- Have you heard this one before? Win by as big a margain as is possible.

Title Decider: You're saved here because this is at Abu Dhabi. Even on hard, I can do about 8 seconds a lap faster than the AI.
- Win the race
- Win by as big a margain as possible
- Take the lead as quick as you can
- Also, be stupendously far ahead of your title rival (I did 30 seconds)
- Don't hit the cars/walls
- Don't fall off the track
- Be as perfect with your lap times as possible: It's pathetically easy to get A*** here if you take the lead early. I had it at the beginning of S2 on lap 2. This is, in fact, the easiest of the 5 special challenges (not counting Head-to-Head) to get the A*** on.

The head to heads were easy. I won by  3 minutes at times.Just ram them off the track, sure you get a penalty but it's worth it.

Touge and head to head seems like you get an  A*** for the amount of time you beat your opponent in.

I have gotten an A*** in all touge and head to heads by ramming them off (I don't usually drive like this).

Eliminator, you just need first here, you can drive as horrendously as you want.

I really want to know what the last helmet for F1 2009 is and can't find it anywhere on the Internet.
