Honda Missing Something?

Taking a look at this years Honda RA007 I noticed it was far too similar to the 2004 BAR-Honda... See, the 2004 BAR didn't have Barge boards, Had a square rear wing, I dont think it had T-Wings...

The RA007 is increadibly flawed, look at the MP4-22 or F2007 or F1.07 From McLaren, Ferrari and BMW respectively...

All of them have have at least 3 elements to the front wing, T Wings (The wings behind the cooling chimneys) Sculpted sidepods, SMALLER sidepod shields (The Hondas could probably be used for Jousting) Sculpted Rear wings...

Surely the Honda Aero-spotters will go back to Brackley and say hey! Check this out! a 2007 car! look at all these fancy curvy wings! Right put that old BAR away!

Honda.... please fix your car... Its ugly. And Super Aguri are beating you. With the same engine. Poorer drivers. Less staff. Tiny Budget....

I'm assuming by Ra007 you mean Ra107 - But ur right, the RA107 bares a close resemblance to the 2004 BAR

...anyway maybe the fact that they sacked Geoff Willis and replaced him with some random japanese guy who spent 10 years designing motorbike engines as someting to do with it? 

Can't wait til prodive come in next year and show Honda how its done eh? Whats the odds ole button goes looking for a drive there? :lol:

I don't think anyone would want him anymore, excluding maybe the backmarkers and the new teams for next season.

lol I really dont think Williams would take hiim after the whole "Williams - BAR contract" thing back in 05. Plus didnt he pay a ton of money from his own pocket to get out of that williams deal?

I'm not saying he is a bad driver at all, he has potential. However, as blaze mentioned the contract thing probably eliminates Williams and I just don't think he's shown enough good driving ability, BAR/Honda fault not his, for the top teams to think his way. Maybe Renault when they get rid of fisi but that's it.

Whoops silly me, The BAR does have T-Wings but no chimneys....

But anyway, this is a lesson to designers, Just cos it worked 3years ago doesnt mean it'l work now. Bad Honda, very bad Honda! lol
