If two or more drivers cross the line at the EXACT same time, who gets the higher position?
In qualyfying the driver who posted the lap time first gets the position.
But how about for the race?

Well it's a situation that's never happened before but, presumably, the car that was initially ahead would get it and the car behind would have a failed attempt at an overtake.Redders1989
They should have it somewhere in the rule book.
But if they cross the line at the same time it would be sort of an overtake because it would be:
Nelson Piquet : 1
Yuji Ide: =
Romain Grosjean: =
I thought Mika Hakkinen and Micheal Schumacher had one at Japan a few years ago, maybe 2000? Or it was like one hunderedths of a tenth off like the second place was +0:00.001 or something really really close like that.Garfield360UK
The closest one was with MSC and BAR at the United States GP 2002. MSC gave BAR the win.
The gap was 0.0011 seconds.
1997 European GP at Jerez
Pole was Villneauve, Schumacher and Frentzen all on the exact same time to the thousanth of a secon, was so weird, pole was given to Jaques cus he got it first.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1997_European_Grand_Prix#Qualifying_2
