Kimi Raikkonen insists the Championship is "not yet over" despite trailing Lewis Hamilton by 20 points in the Drivers' standings

The Ferrari driver has claimed three victories so far this season, along with three other top-three finishes. However, Hamilton has been much more consistent, bagging ten podium finishes from 11 races, including three victories.

As a result the McLaren rookie holds a 20-point advantage over Raikkonen with six races remaining on the calendar.

The Finn, though, hasn't given up on winning this year's World title as he believes he can clinch the victory in at least three of the remaining events.

"The Championship is not over yet, that's for sure," he said. "The gap to the leader has not changed substantially and we can't give up."

"We have an excellent car and I think that the Hungaroring was the only race track so far, where we could have expected to have a slight disadvantage compared to McLaren.

"Whenever we have won a race, as in Magny-Cours and at Silverstone, we made up ground. I'm convinced that when we go back onto a similar track, we can be much more competitive."

"At Istanbul, Monza and Spa-Francorchamps, where there are many long straights and fast corners, we should be able to play out the F2007's characteristics.

"Felipe (Massa) and I have to try to bring home some nice one-two wins. I know that it's difficult to win six races in a row, but we have to try. With a little bit of luck we can catch the leaders."

Well since he's my favourite driver, I'm going to say yes. All it takes is a bad performance from Hamilton to bring that gap down.

Of course he has a chance, but that chance would be much higher were it not for technical problems for him in Spain and Europe. The worry now shouldn't be about not winning races, because he's more than capable of doing that, it should be over whether the car can do 6 races flawlessly. One technical problem like before and it all goes out the window. The same can be said however for the McLaren team, so the championship definitely isn't over.
