Mclaren have admitted that they have a problem and have a race against time to get it sorted.

They are not sure if the engine will be at 100% for the Bahrain GP in less than a months time.

Your Thoughts?????????

they better get their act together or they are in big trouble....but if they bounce back amazingly and are reliable, there will be nothing to stop them - highly unlikely about the reliability..its their weakness...unfortunately

you got a point there m8. If McLaren do get their act together (hope so) they can really push Renault hard this year.

Wonder what will happen to McLaren?????

After the disappointing season they had last yr regarding reliability i was really hoping McLaren would get on Mercedes back and iron out the probs by now. Ok i realise its a whole new engine design but all the other teams seem to be on track and managing to get things together so whats happening with McLaren??? Maybe Ron Dennis needs to crack the whip a little bit harder. The 1 team i would really like to see come good again is Williams, ive been a fan of them since i was 5 yrs old and it pains me to see this once great team relegated to the lower echelons of the sport when u think they were once THE team to beat.

I know what you mean m8, i'd also like to see Williams come back to form.

When was the last time they took the Constructors title. and The last british driver to win the Drivers title was  (Damon Hill) in 1996 and it was with a British Team (Williams)

So can they bring themselves to championship winning form again.

But back to the topic. McLaren need to Crack some whips hard and fast. but can they push Renault this season.....

With Monty gettin 4th spot on the grid the new car defo has the potential to do great things, they need to work on the reliability side now though. A fast car is nothin if it can only do 10 laps before breakin.

If they can get the Reliabilty part sorted, they could be a force to be reckoned with.

I think that losing Adrian Will hurt them a lot, He helped take Mika Hakkinen to his two world titles in 1998 and 1999, and nearly won the 2003 and 2005 championships, so without him it could really hurt. but with the V8 engines it could be a benefit. with adrian not there they can start from scratch with a new body design because the V8 engines are smaller than the V10s
