Formula One's 12th team, Prodrive, will be on next year's starting grid - according to a source close to the outfit.
An announcement was expected from the team, headed by David Richards, at last month's British GP regarding their plans for their first season in F1.
According to the source, Prodrive's future is taking shape with the team finalising car, engine, driver and sponsorship deals.
Other reports claim that deals with McLaren to use their chassis and Mercedes for an engine supply are as good as done.
The team are also expected to use McLaren test drivers Pedro de la Rosa and Gary Paffett as race drivers in the 2008 Championship.

That's what we like to hear.. there were some concerns over whether the team would be prepared enough, but this seems to show that they're on track to start at the beginning of next season. And if that driver lineup rumour is anything to go by, they could be fairly competitive. The car has to be good too however.
