Red Bull has announced it has extended Sebastian Vettel's contract until the end of the 2015 season.

The world champion, who has won three consecutive titles with the Milton Keynes-based squad, had a contract until the end of 2014, but will now stay on for at least another year after the extension of the deal.

Vettel first drove for Red Bull in 2009 and has won 28 races with the team, scoring 50 podiums and 38 pole positions.

The 25-year-old German became the youngest ever triple champion last year and is currently leading this year's championship by 36 points after winning last Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix.

ED: Given he had a contract until the end of 2014 before, I don't even know why people suggested he would replace Massa next year...

Because that's what the media lives of ;)

No surprises there, they are the strongest driver/team combination, why would he leave that to go to a team that works around another driver?
