Hi everyone, since you are all F1 fans, then you must have played at least one F1 video game!
So, what is your favourit Formula One video game of all time, and on what console?
My favourit is the "F1 Challenge 99-02" for the PC. That game was supereb: accurate simulation, stunning visuals, realistic sounds, good AI, not to mention the four seasons available to play with all the new and old drivers and teams! The main negative points were the lack of a good presentation and the lack of a career mode!
Formula 1 97 still remains my favorite and I played it yesterday after the race lol. It's fantastic still nearly 10 years after release. Also high up on my list are Formula One (the reason I bought a PSX), Formula One 2003 and 2005.

Wow, you still like to play F1 97, it is waaaaay too old with old teams and drivers! But I do almost the same thing; I still like to play my favourit F1 game "F1 Challenge 99-02" (PC) even though it is old now! :)
F1 2000 on PSone was very good as well, it is one of my favourit! F1 2005 is good too!
i hav played almost every f1 game u can get.only about 3 for the ps1 about 1 for the ps2 and about 3 from the modern games for pc that i do not own.its a hard decision.f1 championship season 2000 for the ps1 was very realistic.f1 2001 for ps2 was very good.the hard thing about it was that is was really fast and twichy and unrealisic lap times.formula 1 2002 for ps2was good.one bad thing about it was that the a.i. were very slow on the straights.formula 1 2003 was alright and f1 2004.formula 1 2005 was great.f1 challenge 99 was very good but i thought it was hard to handle.but i think my fovourite f1 game is grand prix4.it has great graphics and gameplay and phisics.also u can get ace downloads for it.

i agree with you about F1 2002 for the PSone; it was very realistic and I liked a lot!
I've played all the F1 games released since Formula Oneon the original PlayStation and I still have a very soft spot for Formula 1 2003 on the PlayStation 2.
F1: Championship Edition on the PlayStation 3is probably the best all round experience, but if you want a more feature packed game that you can update on the fly yourself, then Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix 4 on the PC is probably the best way to go.
O, I was in amazement there for a moment. Uhwell, never mind. Might I suggest once again the F1 Technical boards, F1 Journalists from Autosport and RaceCar Engineering frequent the boards there and there's just a *touch* more activity.
