Hey will the DVD that comes out in a week have english voices? Or will it be in *** with english subtitles? I was just wondering what the deal was. I saw an english clip (it was posted in this forum) and just wanted to know if that was official or if it was fan made. Any answer will be aprreciated.
The movie has been redone with English voices, that clip was from the actual film but if you want to see the original in Japanese you can always import or trail the web for it, the voice acting is better and its always fun watching the fan-translated subtitles if nothing else!
I think he means that the lip movements haven't been changed to form English words just dubbed over, which would be really annoying in a real movie but for animation probably won't be that big a deal.
I don't think i'll be able to enjoy it as much with English Voice Acting as i did when i saw it in Japanese. The wierdest part is the actors are most likely gonna be familiar actors and it's just gonna sound weird listening to Michael Clarke Duncan doing Barrett(the guy i always thought that if Barrett had a voice, it would be his). I hope they didn't make Cloud or Sephiroth sound like some goofy white dude. I already know that at least one of them, i won't like because of the way they made them sound in english...can't wait to get it.

Ya the 2 Disc DVD that comes out on the 24 will have both. I just didn't see in the features of the DVD that there was gonna be english voices. So thanks everyone for answering my question.

I would say that Japanese language with subtitles will be selectable.
As far as how the characters sound, if you've played Kindgom Hearts, you already know, they're using the same voice actors.
