Who would win in a Fight?

Vivi (FF9)

Lulu (FF10)

Just vote or tell why you think one would be the clear winner over the other

oh my, this is hard for me to decide seeing as i relied on them both heavily during their respective games

hmm cant i just say that they would draw and settle it over a game of triple triad lol (yea i pulled a mini-game from VIII, one that neither of them are from :P)

i really cannot bring myself to choose, just because i've needed them both heavily in their respective games, so how about this

Lulu, with a Vivi doll, could possibly rule the world? :P

There's no possible reason for them to fight without taking one or both grossly out of character. 

Maybe they fight each other to see who the stronger mage is... Or they battle just for fun.

Either way, the poll is just a bit of fun, I wanted to see who everyone thinks is better or who is their favorite.

I'll go with Lulu because I haven't played FF9.

I haven't played FF9 so Lulu but there are a lot of problems with her:

Her overdrive isn't as good as it seems as the spells are actually weaker and they seem to get weaker the stronger she gets compared to her normal spells. Apart from using overdrive with demi, that is useful....

Another problem is that at towards the end of the game, when you have pretty much finished Lulu and Yuna's paths, Yuna has higher magic so you can just use two warp orbs on Yuna for her to get ultima + doublecast, and then Yuna pwns all enemies making Yuna a much better potential Black mage

mind you, when you complete everyones sphere grids totally (i have bad OCDs about completing things) everyone is pretty much equal lol xD in everything, mind you, yuna can pack one hell of a punch at the end, she was my strongest character for normal attacks i was shocked

Lol, thats what makes characters like Yuna the best, she gest summons while tidus gets nothing but a few bad overdrives, which means when everyone is at all stats. Characters like Yuna, rikku, and Lulu are much more useful where as Tidus, wakka and Kimarhi become useless

i have to say mind, i always kept Tidus in my party just because i have mad OCDs it didn't feel like i was sticking to the story when i wasnt using the main character lol, just like in FFVII when you cant play with Cloud for awhile, i couldn't go out and grind level, i had to play the main story until i got Cloud back for that same reason (oh man i'm lame)

oh and with the black mages, i do still believe that if Lulu had a Vivi doll, shd could possibly take over the world :D
that would have been so epic as her celectial weapon

So TRUE!!! How can you even compare Vivi to Lulu???? That's an insult! :P Even if we will only talk about personality and character development, Vivi wins a long mile.

Anyway, Vivi lso has more MP I believe in the beggining of both games than Lulu. If I remember clearly

Oh, no, no. I rarely delete posts and haven't done it in years... and whenever i delete or edit posts, I always leaves a note on why it was deleted or edited. 

So could you list their stats and abilities? These are two characters whose abilities vary greatly. Lulu has far greater potential than Vivi thanks to the sphere grid.

Until I have a greater understanding of their abilities I will just take it as a fight between my Vivi and my Lulu, in which cas Vivi wins.
