Be a part of the Council of Regulars

Well, I just to thought to create my special group of advisers on matters regarding decision making for the union. I just thought of it to help me unload with some of the troubles of becoming the sole source of decision of FFE. I want to know know your ideas on different aspects of FFE before decision are being arrived at.

I want this council to be the union evaluators on the following issues:

- union performance; the changes, updates and improvements, etc.
- officer performance.

Most sensitive of these is the issue of promotion/demotion of officers. I usually encounter the problem when I demote an officer and some feels like I am disregarding all that they have done for the union. No. We have the rules. Yet, I still opted to create this group so whenever I demote an officer, at least it has some sort of community support.

Another purpose of this is to lessen the need for promoting members. We have limited spots for mods and it should be used effectively. With this, the more regular and FFE-lovin gmembers will have some sort of a "say" in matters relating to union administration.

It does not mean that  if you are not part of this council, your opinion is not heard. It's just that those who will be par to this will be some sort of duty-bound to help FFE.

So, the Council of Regulars will be composed of 7 members:

1 - Presiding Officer (a regular)
6 - other regulars

So, what will b the role of the Presiding Officer? He'll be the one who's going to notify the council members when an issue needs to be discussed. He'll be the coordinator between members and should be in close contact with me and all other members. He'll be voted upon by the members of the council.

Let me stress out that the council will be making decisions. It is more of a recommendatory body, but rest assured that thr council's decisions will be given great consideration whenever I make the final say.

The Council of Regulars will be an independent body. I'll give you a semi-privte place where you can discuss your issues so you will not be subject to regular scrutiny by FFE mods who may be against your recommendations.

TELL ME IF YOU WANT TO BE A MEMBER OR IF YOU HAVE SOMEONE TO RECOMMEND WHO WILL BEST REPRESENT OUR REGULARS.

Hmm i'll let others decide if im worthy of being a council member. But as for recommendations ........ other than the mods........ megamatics is a good choice for a council member and so is -pro-link- . They've both been very loyal and have contributed a lot from what i've seen so far.

Oh and one question. Is knowledge of FF games a prerequisite to be a council member??

You don't have to be a member of this council Tom. Since you're a mod, your performance will also be subject to evaluation of the Council. There will be conflict of interest if you will be allowed to participate as a council member. The Council position is only availalbe for regular members.

However, mods are not left without any option. You can always PM me on how you feel about other mods. Of course, mods can ask to be demoted and instead become a member of the council. :P

I would like to be part of the council. I dont know if Im qualified enough though, you see I've only been part of this union for 2 days. I do however feel a great sense of loyalty to this union even though the time I have spent with it has been short.

Don't get me wrong. I did noy create this idea to force you to post more.

The council, as stated in my original post, will serve as an advisory group. You'll have to be very objectiv ein making your decisions in particluar matters like changing our rules and the hard job of evaluating officer performance and recommending their demotion if needed.

You'll have a big impact on my decisions if you will be able to convince me well with your decisions as a council. The council members will be chosen not based on their skills, but on their love and loyalty for the union. If you really love this union, you'll think for the best of FFE, and decide for the improvement of our humbel site.

Im sorry to say this but my responsibility as an officer in six other unions wont allow me to perform to my best as u expect FG. I'll post daily and help maa with the shrine but thats all i can do i think. I'll see if im able to do more before 25 thStalkingDeath
