Brave blade vs. Chicken Blade

In Final Fantasy V, there are 2 special secret weapons to choose from:

Brave Blade. The most powerful sword in the game. Every time you escape, it loses power permanently.

Chicken Blade. Potentially, the most powerful sword in the game. Every time you escape, it increases in power permanently.

I chose the Brave Blade 'coz I do not have the tradition of escaping in RPG battles.
