well the chocobos are a great way of transportation. I have been using them every chance that I got in FF VII and VIII. Sadly I don't remember them being in the very first FF games, they would have been a great addition. As for the moogles, I don't particularly like or dislike them, but more the latter than the former. I think that the game creators could have chosen a different friendly creature where you could save your game in. Well that's just my view of thing.
I loved the Chocobos in Final Fantasy VII. The moggles in Final Fantasy IX were the best. However, one of my favourite FF creatures would have to be the Moombas! I loved those little "firey" guys. Man, I wish I could buy one of those as a pet. :)Â

I like moombas too, they are adorable.
*looks at her sig* Yeah, chocobos are my favorite though... I don't really know why, considering I wouldn't really ever want a pet bird.
I'm a dog person. Which would be more moomba-ish. I would say moggles are bit cat-ish.
