The PS Final Fantasies would probably be remade for the PS3. I'd like to see a FFVII remade personally as there's a lot to improve on the graphics of that game.
I personally think all the ps2 FFs weren't that great so they shouldn't remake those. And they didn't even have world maps or airships you could ride around in:cry:
FFVII should be remade i personally think FFIX, X, X-2 did no justice to VII and VIII and i think square should go back to being squaresoft coz enix is a dead beat company who wouldn't exist anylonger if they did join up with a huge company but make it for the PS3 :lol:

No why would you want them to waste their time remaking it for PS3? I think if they do any remakes for the PS3 or something like that then they're stupid because they need to be doing brand new stuff for the PS3 not remakes no matter how good the game is. Leave the remakes for the PSP and/or DS.

A remake of FF7 in both PS3 and PSP will surely make Square richer... and they wil lhavb emore money to invest for better quality game sin the future. Besides, PSP is also a powerful system so there will only be little adjustment as to how Square will present it in PS3.

Yet it will still take time away from FFXIII which I value waaaaaaaaaaaay higher than a remake. And if they made FFXIII instead they'd accomplish the same things as a remake such as more money and better quality games in the future plus it won't seem like they're cashing in even more than they already are.
FF VII, VIII, IX remakes for both DS and PSP is far fetched but would be awesome. My whole world would stop just so I could play all three (I only have a DS right now).
I think Square is big enough to have different teams on remakes vs. new games. They can do both without taking time away from other projects.

Yes, but a full blown remake of one of the games their fans treasure most for the PS3 which is a new system to them would take up most of their resources and slow down the making of FFXIII plus if they did remake FFVII for the PS3 you can be sure they would leave that as their only FF game for the PS3 for a couple of years at least.
Then we're back to the fact that if you remove all the factors other than what would you prefer a remake or a brand new FF for the PS3. To me it seems a lot better to get a brand new FF that's original and things along that nature. A remake would just be better graphics(how exciting:roll: ) and minute changes to gameplay. That's not very exciting and you could say "well they could add in a lot of stuff or change some stuff around" if they do anything to change it to much fans will just end up getting mad so basically your saying you'd prefer playing a prettier version of a game that has been played countless times by most RPG fans and isn't getting more original as time passes over a brand new, original FF that could end up taking the place as the best RPG in a lot of peoples minds but you won't know about it for years because they'll be to busy with a remake. It just seems rather pointless to me.
I would save an FFVII remake for the Playstation 3 and go with an IX remake for the PSP, many FF players down look on IX and i'm not sure why :(DaveGamer_05
Yeah your right. I love FFIX and nobody else seems to.
I would prefer a new game for the PS3 rather then remakes. You really can't beat originals. You lose the excitement of the storyline and the shock of things with remakes.
As for portables, I would rather see a whole new FF series for them.
