i don't think it will be much competition, square just isn't as good at this sort of thing

and with FFVII's fanbase present there will be pressure to succeed, pressure and expectations unfurfilled

so chaces are that this action game can be really cool! time will tell

I wouldn't say that DMC3 is well balanced as its harder than hell in the beginning but gets easier the more towards teh end you get.. on the other hand it doesn't really becomes "easy" though *haha*

I would say it felt unrealistically hard at times.. but when I think about it comparing it with older games such as Shadow Of The Beast on the Amiga500 (back in the days) DMC3 is as easy as Mario Bros 1...

Shadow Of The Beast 2 is the hardest game I have ever played ..

I don't care about gimmicks as long as the game can stay true to it.

Ok i have this game now as a japanese import, my review is up on my blog if anyone wants to read it.

Its a good game and great fun to play through, even just to see the sequences in the game (advent children graphics :D). Cant really be compared to DMC since its like more of a1st person (camera behind shoulder like RE 4 style) shooter mixed in with action adventure rpg. The 3rd person action is good but normally best to shoot, unless you turn into Galliant Beast i think its called. The game is easy except for a few bosses. And your transformation Chaos rules, especially when he gets his ultimate weapon. The sequence for this is amazing.

I can tell you some more well I will try but some stuff about the story I dont understand. As the game isnt really that import friendly.

Thanks webby. If the camera is like RE4... I've got to prepare for more gaming headaches. :(

i bet the camera angles will be something like RE4

and Vincent is a cooler guy than Dante, so i hope this game will be pretty awesome

the camera when shooting only is like RE 4 but when your running around normally its 3rd person like behind and above a little.
There are no other tranformations except Galliant beast and chaos.

You do see cloud and all the gang but only in sequences which look amazing.

haha.. yeah that's right! THX! Totally forgot about the name *lol* Played it like crazy when it came out.. I think I and a friend was about the only one in Sweden that could play thru that game without even dying *hihi*

Ein is not so hard when you get into the game... but sure we sat ALOT of hrs on that game to be able to make it thru in one single flight.. oh boy.. the last boss is soooo much fun!

devil may cry is cool but ive only played dmc 2.

hopefully dmc fans wont accuse doc of copying dmc.

if im not mistaken, werent vincent created before dante.

they both can become devils and have guns seems to be the only similarity.

vincent is very different to dante and way cooler & better looking.
