First off, if I was going to make a topic for discussion, I'd put some time onto it and make sure people know what you're talking about.

So, from what I can get from the title, it means that the first disc of FFVII would be a great game by itself. I would have to disagree. The whole game is great the way it is. If you take out key elements, it would be a flop.

If you mean: "What is your favorite disc in FFVII?", then I would have to say all of them, because of what I said in my previous paragraph.

I'd say this deserves a little bump.....

Of course, this is only to get more conservation going....

I don't think FFVII is even one of the top three FFs, so Disc one on its own is not even close to being great in my mind.

Its a great intro to the game, and the game as a whole is great, but i think the first half of FFVI is the best intro to any game ever.
