FUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuu...

I am a very sad panda.

I've been experiencing lockup issues with FFXIII since yesterday, starting from chapter 5. It got especially bad in the evening, I sometimes couldn't even get past the Square-Enix loading screen. Traded it with a new copy this morning and I was finally able to get past that one cutscene in chapter 7, but then comes the boss. I do my usual stuff, pimp slap him back to oblivion and guess what happens? I GETS FED WITH ANOTHER FRIKKIN GAME FREEZE. Been trying again for the last 4 hours, still no luck.

Seems I'm not the only one, too. A lot of people are apparently having the same issue. Goddamit, Square. I just wanna play your **** game, you made wait for 3 years and you still won't let me play, even now that I've bought it? F'ING RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGEEE !!!!!!!!!!! :x:x:x

(On the bright side, I might actually study for midterms, now that FFXIII is broken. Le sigh...)

I want to laugh at you but I don't. I haven't had that problem yet. I just got on chapter 5 or I think I'm somewhere in the middle. Isn't it strange that you don't have to install the game for the PS3 version?

I'm at chapter 4 so far, I hope nothing like that happens while Im playing.

I hear it only happens to people with older PS3 models. Mine's a 60GB launch PS3.

I have a 250GB Slim and mine is stuck at the end of Chapter 7 too. Big boss battle, longish cutscenes, screen goes black. Played through it like 5 times and it just goes black every time. Wonderful :(

Make sure you call or send in a support ticket on Squeenix's site to make sure they get the message :| Most people who have called so far are saying that Squeenix and Sony are both saying "Oh, this is the first we've heard of this!" and blaming the other party. I just want to game :(

I wasn't aware that Slim PS3s were also affected. Hope they fix this soon, this is ridiculous. :|

same ps3 as you here, but i'm up to chapter 10 and mine doesn't freeze.

*pats the sad panda*

 That crap usually happens with *** and usa versions. I luckily have my lovely euro game :P LiquidClear makes sense, if that console of yours is dusty inside, you can be 99 percent sure the game'll freeze.
