favorite final fantasy soundtrack

How the hell is Final Fantasy IV-VI not winning :( those was definitly the best soundtracks every. The greatest music was Final Fantasy VI and followed close by Final Fantasy IV... well i guess it just that i like old game music better, all this 3D music is getting really annoying.Cocololap

FFIV is the best FF soundtrack ever periodfs_metal

The one that dissapionted me the most was the FFXII soundtrack. Didnt strike me as "Final Fantasy". Very Sad Amnesiac23

One Winged Angel always seemed overrated to me. I love Dancing Mad though, as well as Ex-Death and Zeromus's music. Dark Messanger was great as wellfs_metal

One Winged Angel is overrated.  However I don't think that the awesomeness of the first time you fight the final Sephiroth for the first time and it comes on is overrated, that is awesome.

I'm not going to answer the question because its utter opinion and I don't know all of the Final Fantasy soundtracks that well so it wouldn't matter that much.

ff10's soundtracks were all pretty good, I cant remember the name of the sound, in FFx-2, yuna sing a song on the ship, it was good.

Yes I have heard Dancing Mad.  Not recently or as an individual track, but I've beaten FFVI and thus have heard the song.  However since I do not particularly recall it I would say it did not leave as great an impact as One Winged Angel did, but perhaps I will play VI again when I have spare gaming time.

Cloud, One Winged Angel isn't the only orchestral.  Liberi Fatali from VIII is not only orchestral/choral, but probably a better piece than One Winged Angel.  Or at least I thought so when I heard the two of them performed in the same concert.

I must say it is interesting to hear someone claim X-2 as their second favorite soundtrack.  I did like "1000 Words", and find "What Can I Do For You?" entertaining (By which I mean I don't really think its that great a song, but its fun to listen to).

Final Fantasy VII.

the only soundtrack that can bring me to tears.

i cant even start a new game on FFX, due to the fact that FFVII songs play while ur on besaid and the second i hear them i HAVE to put in VII or the rest of my day gets thrown off.

Ok here we go....

tactics... is up there with my favs..along with 8 and 6, i really had hoped 12s was going to be extrodinary but it fell just under good.. my opinion thats all
