Favorite Male & Female Final Fantasy Character and Why?

Just wanted to know who everyone likes and why, For me it has to be Yuna & Squall

Squall because the way he treats situations as they nothing and he is quite emotinal really even though he dont seem it :) and that scar makes him look epic lol =D

 Yuna because she is really strong mentally and she is always willing to do whats best for her guadians and that Laugh she done with Tidus lol :)

Male: Vivi because he's just plain awesome, one of the best black mages in the series and one of the series' most developed characters.

Female: Yuna because she was willing to sacrifice herself for the betterment of the world and didn't let it get her down.

Male: Zidane or Vivi. I like Zidane a lot because of his happier attitude compared to previous protagonists and he all around appeals to me. Vivi is extremely well developed and is one of the most likeable characters I've come across.

Female: Not sure, either Terra or Rydia.

Male: Cloud or Cecil...

Female: Aeris or Ashe....Mmmmm....

My favorite female character is probably going to be Aerith or Lulu. But I am really caught between Cecil, and Cloud as favorite male characters.NeoGen85

I'd say Cecil is more heroic, the whole Paladin thing and his reasons to fight make him possibly one of the most heroic...maybe 3rd after warrior of light and firion. Cloud was just a big sour face sat around making the game depressing.Adzey

Kind of funny how the tables have reversed again. huh? 10 years ago, Cloud was considered a great character for the same reasons he is hated now.

Sure, Firion was one of the less developed characters, but he fought fiercely for what he believed in. I know the same could be said for all the other FF characters, but for some reason Firion's story touched me. It might also be because Dawn of Souls was the first FF game I played. Besides, it's a different answer than "Cloud", who seems to be everyone's favorite for some reason.Yonathin3155

I had a feeling you were trying to be unique. Btw, I chose Vivi myself, not Cloud. Cloud isn't that great, but he is still one of my favorites.

Squall and Rinoa.

Squall because I could connect with him, mainly because he reminds me of me.

Rinoa because she reminds me of someone I know in real life, a lot, actually.

Favourite male character happens to be Cloud, surprisingly. He's someone I can sympathize awfully well and he's one of those rare heroes who show human emotions. Fear, failior, sadness...you can't always be triumph, you know :P

And favourite fem-character is probably Yuna. Or Fran. It's just easy to like them, to put it simply.

Favorite male character: Auron. I generally tend to like the loyal, knightly characters anyways, but I think Auron kinda broke the mold since you can see how he really feels as the game progresses and that he is actually quite complicated. The scene where he is slashing at his ghost/memory (or whatever) in Zanarkand is one of my favorites in any FF game. (Vivi is a close 2nd)

Favorite Female character: Tifa.  I guess I sort of felt sorry for her since the whole time you could tell she was into Cloud but kept quiet and sat and watched as he and Aeris hit it off in front of her all the time. Plus for some reason I always liked the way she just runs up and kicks the crap out of stuff without using a weapon or anything; that's pretty cool.

I have like...a large explanation dealing with me and Squall and her and Rinoa, but I don't want to get into it right now.

Really?! I think it's weird you don't like Fran O_o The whole Viera tribe's interesting, I think - they all are so graceful with their movements and speech...oh, and the accent! It sounds so fun :P Not sure does only Fran have it, though.

Whut...? No way I've liked Sephiroth D: I mean, he WAS a nice guy before his craziness but...that's that.

favorite male: shadow from final fantasy 6. yeah i know you can miss him as a playable character entirely (having 4 characters in your party at all times and leaving him to die in the floating fortress just before the world of balance ends and the world of ruin begins) but i think its his backstory as clyde and what happened with his friends and family during his dreams that really makes him interesting to me. i just want to find out more about what happened in his life before final fantasy.

favorite female: tifa from final fantasy 7, only cuz i had to pick a girl.

Male - Vivi, easy choice.

Female - Closer race, but going to go with Rydia 

Male would be Squall, Female would be Tifa, with a tie of Fran.

Male, Cloud or Vivi, and for female, Rydia, or maybe Agrias from FFT. As you can see, I like characters with neat sword techs or black magic. Combining the two is my dream come true.Cloud_765

Leon (I never use Squall)- Because he is such a *** damn mess :lol:    Riku- Because I would love to party hard with her! She is so funny! 

I like pretty much nearly all of the characters in the series but:

My favourite male character is Auron. He is the epitome of cool and appears calm and collected a lot of the time and doesnt let on too much about stuff and has a deep character. Suits the part of the being the person to look upto very well.

My favourite female is most probably Freya...yeah yeah shes a rat-thing but Freya has a tough, noble personality and has a lot going on internally and the way she perseveres with things is also what I like about Freya. Kinda like Auron in a couple of ways.

Looks almost like my wife. Only my wife has a little longer hair but almost same. (talking about in FFX not X-2)
