Age of Empires is fun and all, but I'm a Civ guy, and Destroy All Humans is bad all together. If I was to get anything other than FFXII it would be the new Splinter Cell.

AOE beats civ and DAH is better than you give it credit for, you might just stink at it

AOE beats civ and DAH is better than you give it credit for, you might just stink at it No, the game was actually easy. I didn't find enjoyment in running around as an alien shooting humans, sorry. The game got old really fast. I won't just not like a game becuase I suck at it or I think it's hard. Hell, if you knew me I actually like challenging games. AoE is fun and all, but I'm not really into it.

I'm out of the country and away from my PS2 for a year, but I will buy FFXII the instant I set foot back on American soil. The only other game that sounds half as interesting right now is Okami.
XII is a guarantee...preordered and waiting for the package in the mail but I'm an RPG freak so I'm also looking at the new Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria, eagerly awaiting updates for (working title) Dragon Quest 9, the new Spyro game (It's ummm...for my girlfriend...honestly...yeah that's a good one), and Guild Wars Nightfall. Other than those I'm not very interested in the FPS or RTS scenes. Sports games are almost always out of the question. That's what roommates and suitemates are for!! :)
when it comes out i can pick it up because i already paid for it in full so im just waiting but if i were to pick up another game i dont think i would FFXI already takes up most of my time i just need to take some time off from it so that i can beat some of my other RPGs like digital devil saga 2 or the Dragon Quest 8 ( Final dungeon but i need to get it back from my cousin)
