FFXII Interview

i just found on http://www.ffshrine.com an interview that they did with Akihiko Yoshida, Hideo Minaba, Isamu Kamikokuryou of the Final Fantasy XII staff regarding some of the things about FFXII

heres the interview i would have just copy and pasted it but its quite long

yeah its long, I read most of it, but did skip a little

i alredy knew that it would be like Tactics cuz i read it in my GI magazine last year. It said it starts off in Ivalicepvtvaladez

from what ive heard about tactics this game BETTER NOT BE LIKE IT

yup thats the one thing thats worried me about the FF series, I knew sooner of later they would wanna screw with the gameplay that made the series magic, listen Square-Enix, ALL WE WANT IS THE SAME DAMN STYLE OF GAME WITH A GREAT STORY LINE, DONT MESS WITH CONTROLS, BATTLE SYSTEMS, ETC. !!!

well just have to see how it is, coz if its like X-2 :)

i didnt like X-2 battle system at first, but once I got the hang of it, its pretty sweet, i love being able to string combos together, you can really kick some ass if you time it all right

yeh the chains are cool, the only thing i didnt like is u couldnt tell if u performed an Overkill like in X
