Final Fantasy

I bought FFVII back in 1998. And then only a year after that SquareEnix released FFVIII. And then in 2000 they released FFIX. And the same with FFX in 2001. But then everything just changed suddenly and they released FFXI which was a MMORPG. And now FOUR years after the last single player FF they are releasing FFXII. I just find that really annoying and hurts even more if your a die hard fan like myself. And now they say they're losing money. If they'd just stuck to single player FFs imagine how much money they would have made. FFXII better be revolutionary or im just gonna lose faith in SquareEnix. :xWhat do you think? :?

Well if you count FFX2 then it hasnt really been that long. I do hope FFXII turns out good though. Kefkamania05

With the current hype, I agree, it is going to disappoint people no matter how good it is. However, it will get people's attentions again and they will be set with 13. I was disappointed that 11 was a MMORPG as well and haven't even looked at it because I cannot play games on my computer that has DSL and would have to go back to dial-up which would just be painful.

I also agree they should start a series for the portables. I think with the new abilities of both the PSP and DS they can do very well.

My opinion is that after years of hype FFXII will ultimately disappoint even though it may end up being a pretty good game. Though I'm sure they'll get there stuff together and FFXIII will be one of the best FFs yet. Also if they would go ahead and make a new "numbered" title for the portables then that could be realy good too and probably wouldn't take a terribly long time to make either.natiko

Enix are messing with the systems and the gameplay its no longer an amazing japanese rpg its become one of the crappy american rpg's or british rpg's who just dont know how to make rpg's properly enix cant make games ive played three of there games and even then they were knock offs of pokemon they need to go back to being squaresoft kick enix out and make the games the way they used to STK3000

You gotta think that square is messin with the gameplay system so its gunna take longer than the others. and there is no way XII can live up to the current hype. i just want a new game its been 2 longduffman5027
