I did enjoy that one but I just love the design of her weapon. It is fluid in its shift between gun and sword and to me just looks awesome and a great update from say Squall's clunkier gunblade.
What weapon was what? I meant how Lightning's changes between the two in general and I just meant that Squall's being one shape literally a gun and blade fused together seems clunkier to me, I wasn't thinking any weapon specifically...
I also had that happen several times, he really wasn't all that hard of a boss to take on; jeez could XIII-2 come out already I want to do everything with the new story, leveling system, monsters, and weapons;)
In final fantasy 13 I liked the idea of AMP technology, I liked Snow Villiers and of course The Gunblades of Lightining, unfortunatly there is no rendition of excalibur in 13.
Cloud's BUSTER SWORD is a classic. It paved the way for giant swords to be part of the mainstream weapons selection in videogames.

Amen. I hate when people try to downplay Cloud as being a typical spiky-haired, big-sword character. He was the ORIGINAL spiky-haired, big-sword character and he kicked so much @$$ that everyone else had to copy his style.

He is not the first 2-handed sword wielder in videogames, but he wielded his uber sized weapons with awesomeness that wielding giant swords became "cool" and a norm. Now, you will rarely see RPGs without giant weapons.
excalibur II for jokes, n jus because once uv got it, you're the boy, and a bit sad, apart from that is itcid in ffXII who has the two inverted swords, they were good to look at...
I like Sephiroths Masamune or how Sephiroth is awesome with it because he can cut through anything. I also like Death Penalty, Vincents weopen. I really like Genesis's weopen as well. He can channel fire through it. Caius has a cool sword.
Ah, all of Vincents weapons were awesome but I would say the Cerberus was my favorite.vegamineral
It ruled for all the customization options. Easily his best weapon in that it could handle long and short ranged battles while his other guns were more context specific.
