There will be a battle every weekend, unless I am very busy.

No amount of dexterity would save the thief from the warrior's powerful weapons and armor. Maybe if the thief were a ninja he'd have a better chance, but even then...cjimrun

Thieves don't throw in FF. Ninjas do. Warriors (Fighters) are generally the strongest and most resilient characters in the series. Thieves bring special abilities like steal and dash to the party, but usually don't give or take nearly the damage fighters do.

I used to practice MMA as well. I also have a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. That is not the point. These are Final Fantasy characters we're talking about and judging by their appearance in the pics, FF1 characters to boot. So how bout you try to finish FF1 with all Fighters and then do it with all Thieves and tell me which was easier. For that matter, look at any FF that has both and tell me who is better for combat. Thieves are useful for their abilities, not for fighting.

i beat final fantasy 1 without using a theif lol.. besides the point.. it's more of a popularity contest than a battle! and I'd say if you have a level 100 theif vs a 100 warrior it would be a good fight..

I have broken the TIE!!!! Being a time fan of the Warrior...I feel that in the end, you can always count on them to take a beating & deliver the bigger blows. No offense to the Thief, who is great in his own right.
