Final Fantasy + Paid DLCs = ?

What do you think about Final Fantasy and Downloadable Contents (DLCs)? For sure, we all loved free DLCs, but how about the paid ones?

I am very apprehensive about DLCs. Sure I buy a number of it from time to time whenever I think it would be great. However, I get so pissed whenever I buy DLCs already equivalent to the price of a game or two only for the company to release a Game of the Year or Complete or Ultimate Edition with all the DLCs I have paid for given for free! I feel I was screwed.

Although DLCs allow companies to earn a little more money, I think they should just give it for free or for very minimal amount (no greater than $5). DLCs should be treated as added value for their products to make their customers more satisfied, and not as additional source of income. 

Here's what I wrote in another union.

"All this DLC is a test from the Square to see what it's fan base would get so they can cut major things like characters that should have been in the game. *cough Lightning cough* I mean come on she's on the cover of the game Square.

I just hope it doesn't get as bad as Capcom.

It's not free. Only thing that is free is some Serah costume.

I dislike paid dlc... But I do pay for some... and especially if it's for ff

Well, I also have a job, but my conscience cannot take to buy DLCs that are worth a game already. :PFantasy_Gamer

I don't mind it depending on how it's done and the price. I bought a lot of DLC for Dissidia 012. But if it feels like content that should have been in the game to start with I get annoyed.

I heard they removed the ending from XIII-2 and sold it as DLC. One of the reasons I am reluctent to buy it. Is that true? And how much does the ending cost?

Is the ending some to be continued BS?

The dlc is not even true endings. They gave a crap ending so we will spend money on XIII-3 when it comes out. I in general don't like dlc available for XIII_2. Yes I bought it all, but I really don't like it. I also got the dlc for duodecim. I will also probably buy all the dlc for Theatrythm. That is probably why they keep doing dlc because people like me keep buying them anyway.
