I don't know if this topic was started yet ( when i searched there were to many results for me to go thru) so i was wondering what you guys thought of the movie?
it was a VERY HUGE let down for me. i was expecting to see chocobos and people with swords. not a destroyed New York :evil: oh and magic and summons too.
FF:SW is garbage, it alienates many FF fans around the world, which SE should've known are the first persons who would watch the film! But the movie wasn't really an FF movie, but rather a visually-rich cgi movie with "Final Fantasy" unceremoniously slapped at the title.
It's a good thing that FFVII:AC wasn't a letdown, but a real treat.

is that movie out in america yet? my fiend said it was
I think it had awesome CG like everyone else and I was dissapointed as well but not because it didn't have a connection to Final Fantasy games since each Final Fantasy game is different and takes place in a different world pretty much ...I just thought it could have ..I dunno had something more. Something was just missing plus it was a little slow to me. :(
it was no where NEAR a final fantasy movie. It was all futuristic and guns and crap... total let down... it didnt even use the traditional "final fantasy cg scene" thing... i didnt like it
