So, EGM is now backing up 1Up's claim that we should expect FF7 soon. So what do you feel about it?
If it is a remake then it should use the original battle system.
If they want to make another game with the FFXII battle system then start workin on FFXIV, don't ruin a classic.

YEA the orginal is way better in my opinion Solidus713
How can you say that? The remake hasnt even been made yet. In fact, the remake hasnt even been confirmed by Square yet.
And why would Square have some American magazine announce it first instead of themselves? It sounds a lot to me that EGM just tried to predict a likely announcement for E3 to look like it's fresh info and missed, at least for the time being.argianas
Remember FFXIII?
There is a good saying for this:
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it......"

So, how will you explain FFIII DS? THere is no need for a game to be broken for them to remake it. Test of time is the answer. Sometimes, no matter how good a game is, change should be made... But I'm more for improvements than a complete change. That's what I feel when they remade FFIII. FFIII was vry special to me 'coz it is my first RPG, but seeing that the remake is quite good, I'm happy for what happened to it.
They can tweak and expand..but complete change..not a good idea.natikoexactly, give us some prettier graphics and maybe some extra quests and such but please leave the damn gameplay alone

FF13 wasn't offiically announced until a week ago; granted people knew it was going to happen so it's no surprise (SE did say last year they're working on a new FF game for the PS3). However, the official announcement didn't come in a magazine. Frankly at this point so many people are so sure that the remake is happening that they're saying "when" it comes out as opposed to "if", which is causing a lot of confusion.
So, anyone here who's still not convinced that the game is gonna undergo a remake?Fantasy_Gameri'm not 100% convinced, I still think its a myth, but we'll see
sniff, i got hurt when the KotOR II and Chrono Trigger remakes were cancelled
though i have read in two reviews the producers and directors saying that FFVII will not happen, they may reissue the original game though
I have to agree with KoC...there should NEVER be a remake of FFVII. It's not needed.natikoand I agree with you both :D
